Title: Is Quadro 1000M supported by Keyshot?
Post by: GaryGU on October 09, 2011, 07:12:04 AM
Hi. I'm using ThinkPad W520 workstation and it is equipped with a Quadro 1000M graphics card. Besides there's an Intel Graphics Card.
When I installed Keyshot on my computer (OS: Win 7 X64), the default graphics card is Intel. It's OK to run on the Intel but when I choose to run Keyshot on Quadro, the program simply fails to start and tells me that the exe stops working.
I want to know that whether Quadro 1000M is supported by Keyshot. Besides, when Keyshot works, whether the Quadro card will participate in the calculation?

KeyShot does not use the graphics card during rendering; it is strictly cpu based. So I'm surprised that it's caring what graphics card is installed. I have a Dell M4400 with a Quadro M1700 and Keyshot runs with no problems.

Can you please contact support? It is most likely related to some graphic driver issues. Did you install CUDA by any chance?
