I think the depth of field is a bit much. Maybe tone it down a bit make sure the blades do not lose their shape, especially when they are that close to the camera.

Also I think your reflections are a bit too prominent in the red.

I think your render could use some more shadow where the red meets the metal. Maybe you could add some depth there in photoshop.

I also think a vignette would help make your image more interesting.

The wood is looking very nice. Maybe darken the shadow a hair. Looks great play with that depth of field a lot.

I agree .. there's too little of your product that is in focus.  Way too much DOF.

Thoughts:

A vignette would look great.
I'd try the focus on the swiss knife logo as well.
You could probably get away with that much DOF if you were focusing on something specific.
Great backplate.
Love the color. What setting did you use on the red?
It's a bit grainy, especially the DOF. Increase render time to help.
