Post by: Sergiy Lysenko on May 22, 2020, 01:52:13 AM
Hey guys, glad to be here!

Im using KS for two years, it started as a hobby but its addictive and now it became part of everyday routine (in a good way).

Not sure that this picture belongs to "Amazing Shots" but I've tried hard.

Very cool! I was able to model one of these with the wheel sitting in my lap. Such an iconic design.

Indeed, the texturing looks awesome. Is the text imprint suppose to be misaligned from the paint?

I can answer that, yes is is supposed to be misaligned to be accurate to the real things.

Guys thank you for a kind words!
Textures were made in Substance and exported in KS.

To Josh3D:
Yes, as Optimusglen already mentioned, it made like that on purpose.
I believe tire manufacturers are making those paint stencils on racing tires to have an additional free presence of their logo on the racing car.
Anyway I made it according to a reference photos.
