The critical eye would be the windows will collapse, as there is no lintel to protect the weight of the bricks just falling down.
And I presume the owner is a peeping tom, with the telescope looking across to the next building. :-)
The left light would attach to the beam, I wouldn't expect it to be direct to the ceiling, and would be balanced in middle not to edge.

The curtain would have a rail and lower down, and not sure why all they look different colors.

I would prefer a warmer feeling, so would be close curtains, the internal light would give a more comfortable feeling.

That's all just my feeling when I look, I love the sofa materials all look good that I would so sit on them.
