Title: Simple "Text" node in Material Graph
Post by: carloswhipsaw on January 18, 2021, 11:32:01 AM
I'd love to get a node in the Material Graph for adding simple text labels. My current workflow is to create text labels in Adobe Illustrator, save out as a .png, and drop it into the material graph (either into the diffuse channel or more commonly into the opacity channel of a material label). Unfortunately that means I have to keep Illustrator open and make changes while Keyshot is running, which bogs down my system. I really, really hate this workflow. If I could easily add a block of text using my system fonts to use as a diffuse or opacity map, this would make my life (and I'm sure others') SO much easier!

of course these are some slightly different approaches, but it's all about having a simple possibility to have "text-elements directly build within Keyshot"
