Title: GameBoy
Post by: Matteo Buffoli on March 05, 2021, 05:14:09 AM
Good morning guys.
Hope to find you well :)

Here some exercises with Displacement maps.
I have 3D modeled all the elements with Creo Parametric and I used the displacement maps in Keyshot for all the logos (Nintendo logo, signs on + button, A-B logo, etc...).
I was interested in these experiments to avoid 3D modeled logos in my future products.

I am open to any suggestions for any improvements.

I hope you will like it.
Thank you.

Seems like you got the displacement maps completely down now. Honestly I couldn't see any improvements to get the Gameboy looking more realistic. It's photorealistic at this point. Maybe try out some different lighting to create more of an interesting surrounding for it. Good job man!
