Title: Tri-Planer bind on an object?
Post by: abedsabeh on May 29, 2021, 09:45:45 AM
Hello everyone, is there a way to bind a tri-planer texture so it stays on an object during animation? I think I read it some where but I can't figure it out now :-) I appreciate any help thanks!

Hi Abed,

Can you give an example of the issue you are facing?
Are you seeing swimming textures on your animated models? What kind of animations?

I ran into this when importing deformable mesh animations via .abc files; only world coordinates were respected resulting in textures floating in space as the objects moved.

My solution was to UV unwrap in the native modeling software and re-import. I never found a solution within KeyShot.
