Hi all,
Sharing some detailed internal and glass (x-ray) renderings completed for my ID graduation project 'Viu'.
Completing 3D rendered PCB's can be quite time consuming, but well worth the effort. Multiple opacity maps made in Illustrator were used for the different screen layers on the PCB.
The interior detail was showcased with the glass material option, and the metal heat sinks and alike were weathered with a curvature opacity map.
A full physically lit 3-point setup really pulled the details out and gave nice contrast in the glass.
This will be my last project as an ID student, so can't wait to continue using Keyshot in the real world!
