Title: GPU rendering crash in KS10 on NVidia RTX 3090.
Post by: Andrew VDW on January 31, 2022, 03:29:45 PM
I'm wondering if anyone has encountered this render issue with KS10.2.113?
If I try rendering a particular scene I'm working on at the moment using GPU rendering with my GeForce RTX 3090 I get this issue. All images are generated as blank frames. If I use CPU rendering it works (but obviously takes an eternity).
I am running the latest NVidia drivers.
I have tried to optimise the project down from 75m polys to 25m but doesnt seem to make a difference.
Test rendering different model groups switched off isolated the issue to one small asset that had a pretty standard .png texture map on it. But when recreating that object in new project away from original project and testing the GPU render it worked successfully.

Hello Andrew,

If you haven't done so already, would it be possible for you to send us the following in an e-mail to support@luxion.com:

If your .ksp is to big to be attached to the e-mail, you can also send it safely via https://keyshot.wetransfer.com/ (https://keyshot.wetransfer.com/)

Our Support Team will then take a look at it and might be able to do some additional troubleshooting.

Best Regards,

Synje
