Title: Texture scale problem
Post by: Gavrik on December 07, 2011, 05:55:51 AM
I have 71 doors made in sketchup. When i apply texture to all of them the scale does not match. Helps reducing scale of the texture, but in KS 3 i reached almost 0, but this is not enough. How can i solve the problem?

Okay are the doors all the same ie. instances? or are they all different models? I am assuming that they are all the same and are instances. Did you create UVs for your door? Or did you just apply a planar projection in KS? If the model is simple I wouldnt mind UVing the door for you and solving your issue. Let me know if you need me to do that for you.

Basically how UV works is that You have one node that controls how the computer projects your map onto your model and a second node that controls how your UVs can be placed.

You may want to change the mapping to box mapping.
