Post by: Zander85 on December 23, 2011, 03:20:11 PM
I have am collecting quite the collection of HDRI images from various sources and I need an effecient way to quickly preview them or view them as thumbnails. Is there a good HDRI previewer out there? I have adobe bridge which can preview .hdr files but it can not read .exr or .hdp files etc.

XnView is a good one (for HDR) and it's free too!  ;D

A good way to do it is to generate JPEG as thumbnails with a PhotoShop batch. Especially if you have high definition HDRIs, previewing them every time is a little annoying. I've seen a way to modify Windows Explorer so it can generate thumbnails for HDRI images but I won't recommended for the same reason I mentioned.
