Title: Materials Are being applied to every part of my model at once when they shouldnt
Post by: Zander85 on January 06, 2012, 06:27:10 AM
I want to apply one material to my ring shank and a different material to my diamonds, but when I drag and drop either material they get applied to every part of the model in the scene. I have even tried hiding the parts that I do not want the material applied to and then dragging and dropping the material on just the part of the model that I want the material applied to but, still all of hidden parts are affected and the material is applied to them as well. How can I correct this?

Thanks, Zander

Have you tried dragging them onto the components in your scene tree?

Are they linked? Try right clicking on a part and unlink material.
