Why can't you render reflections while rendering to a 32 bit tiff file?  >:(

When you render to a 32 bit tiff file type the reflection is not included. Is there a way to render in a reflection without rendering in background? I have added screen shots to help illustrate the process.

I forgot to mention the context of the 3rd image. I opened the rendered 32 bit tiff file that was just rendered in KS in photoshop. Added a solid color behind the rings on a separate layer. And the reflection is simply not there.
