Title: Forum Posting Security Words Are Difficult to Use
Post by: br3ttman on February 05, 2012, 02:07:48 PM
My last forum posting took 3 attempts, and one complete rewrite because it was impossible to make out the "verification" words.  Plus it's not allowing me to go back and "modify" my post to make any additions/corrections.

. . . and now I'm on my 3rd attempt to make this post . . .

. . . 4th attempt . . .  >:(

The Captcha security is well OTT. There is no real reason to make you use it every post. Every tenth or something maybe, but as it is makes posting annoying lol

Cheers!

I agree. We have fixed this. We adjusted the setting since we had a lot of spam one day, but it was a bit too aggressive. Now it will only require the recaptcha for the first post.
