Title: Soft focus rendering problems.
Post by: hoarp001 on March 03, 2012, 02:31:24 PM
Hi Everyone,

Been playing with soft focus rendering, if I let the real time render window sit for a few hours, it does an amazing job of rendering in the soft focus. If i do a render out, the soft focus is awful, the soft focus is made up of small dots.

How do I get the same soft focus results in the actual render as the real time project window?

Thanks.

You can use the realtime renderer for the final rendering as well (for example set max samples to 100). You can also increase the depth of field quality under the quality tab.

Did a render with the sampels set to max, was still quite dotty. Doing one now with the max time set to 8hrs, will see what it looks like in the morning. Didnt know it was possible to adjust the DOF quality, will try that when this render finishes...

Just stopped the long render, cant find a DOF specific quality adjustment anywhere.. It is under DOF on the project window thing, or the render options? thanks.
