Title: Where has the Rotate Widget gone?
Post by: nmeyer on April 19, 2012, 06:44:28 AM
What happened to the rotate widget?  All I get options for is move and scale.  Rotating objects by typing in increments is not fun. Also my x and z rotation values sometimes rotate the object in the same direction.

As far as I know, it's alive and well.  I'm able to access it via right click, move object.  There is the option to select translate, rotate, scale, or snap to ground.

You may need to install the latest video drivers for your card. If that doesn't do it, then you will need to upgrade to a card that supports openGL 2.0 or higher. Any cheap card should do it.

I have had it not show up a few times in the last couple of days. I have the latest Nvidia drivers too. Seems if I cancel it them apply the rotation again it usually shows up

Yeah I have never gotten the option to rotate.  Instead as soon as I click move, crazy stuff starts happening like shown in the attached image.  My current graphics card is an ATI FireGL V7700.  It says my drivers are up to date.
