Title: Lounge

Lounge. I new take on community seating. I am working on a concrete material for a rendering that would allow for integration in a park setting.

As a shape, very nice.  As a design, very anti-social ...  ;)  I picture 4 kids of the same age sitting in it, each with their iPod earplugs in and looking at their iPad ... right in a park where they could play foodball and have fun together, while their parents socialise on a more contact-stimulating bench  8)

Guess I envisioned this design as seating for individuals who may want to read or relax in the park while enjoying the sunshine. Certainly more of an aesthetic park feature, a sculpture if you will, that would serve as seating only as a secondary function. Maybe I could use aspects of the design as a play structure for kids instead? Gotta agree that this is a very anti-social design for seating at a playground!  ;)

Sorry, I'm just being a pain ... thinking the way my teachers used to evaluate our work.

Render these in a library environement with some people reading a good roman and you're all set ;)  That is an ideal environement for such a furniture.
