Title: Why do shadows in transparent backgrounds (alpha channel) appear as white?
Post by: bradn on June 05, 2012, 11:18:46 AM
Shadows appear as white on any color background.  Is there a way that I can change this at the rendering stage, or an easy way to change in Photoshop?

Thanks.

Hard to say without a preview. I know that drop shadows in PS can show as white when used as Alphas. probably because the drops are gradients. Give us some more info and maybe a screenshot of the problem.
