Title: key reasighnment
Post by: pattersonr1 on September 23, 2012, 05:00:39 AM
lm a disabled user (spinal) & would LOVE to be able to reprogramme keys for a custom setup of keys ,as pressing multiple keys at once is incredibly time consuming, difficult etc then it all goes south.
We disabled are from all walks of life,& most have alot time to use software.everyone who l have introduced have, all the same opinion

Thanks for raising such an important issue.  I'm not disabled, but I am a designer in the medical device design industry, and I see the challenges that folks face every day.  Add me to this request!  In SolidWorks you can assign or reassign keys at will, and I know several important designers who use the keyboard to help overcome mobility and/or dexterity medical issues.

And for many of us the ability to assign keystrokes would greatly assist workflow and productivity.

Thanks for the input. We will put that into our development plans.
