Immediately after starting KS3.33_64 Task Manager (win7_64_ultimate) shows 100% cpu utilization. There is no set drawn yet, nothing. Only a blank document. Is this normal? No residency programs there are, except antivirus.
thx for any advice
Peter
It is normal. That's the realtime-render that kicks in as soon as you start the program.
Yes, normal behaviour of Keyshot. As soon the program is launched it computes, using all the available cores.
You can use Shift-P to pause Keyshot. CPU utilization will be released.
From the Win task manager you can also select how many cores you want to use for KS : select Keyshot process > Right Click > Set affinity, and uncheck the cores you want to release.
