Excellent - love the scratches. Is there a glass surface covering the face?
Thanks Thomas... No, the cover has been removed

Figured as much - would be nice to see with cover.
I would give the sidewall a little more roughness ... the reflection of the map in it makes it rather invisible, taking away the depth of the watch ... Just a thought ;)
Philippe : must be your eyes mate ;)
Cheers

My Favorite from you. This is a really nice image.
It's a keeper in my book.
Thanks for sharing.
Tim
Thanks Tim, much appreciated...
Philippe: I take on board your comments, perhaps you could be right, I did play with the roughness value and had it a little higher then changed it after looking at reference images...
Bio > the very first look I had at it, I didn't notice the depth of the watch at all. That's why I say that. Perhaps adding a bit of shadow below on the map could help just the same to make the watch as a whole pop more.
Don't get me wrong, it's a very nice render with nice detail and nice textures and a cool backdrop .. it's just that the very first look I had, I didn't understand the whole object .. it took me a second or 2.
nice
Here's another render with the glass lid in place and the gold roughed up a little...
Also, this one is straight out of KS - no colour correction

I like it ! :)
This is excellent.
hi, you should, in my opinion, push a little gamma setting.
and reduce the overall brightness.
As you get more white dial.
I didn't want a bright white dial, I'm happy with it as it is thanks...
ok sorry.
No apology necessary Antoine, my previous response had no edge to it - I just didn't want that look
But saying that, I appreciate what you said.
Take care and have a great Christmas
Cheers
