Title: glass/solid glass/liquid materials and shadow
Post by: evilmaul on February 13, 2013, 10:49:10 PM
hi there,

I was wondering if this is the desired look for the shadow and these 3 different materials?
I am assuming that the simple glass is the way the shadow should look like....and so (or sort of) should be for solid glass and liquid materials as well.

cheers,
M

Yes. The glass is really a simplified representation that allows the light to pass through. It is intended mainly for windows and other thin glass surfaces.

So for interior settings, glass is a prefered material over solid glass ... that's something I didn't know yet ... :)
