Title: The options dialogue box dissapeared
Post by: Upus on July 04, 2010, 09:36:51 AM
It doesn't show the options box if I hit space or try to edit a material double clicking it. I already tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it but it keeps not showing it. Please someone help me! I have homework to do for tomorrow!!

I noticed if I use dual screen sometimes, keyshot remembers the gui position.

open the keyshot.xml and set the window positions to smaller numbers (mine were in the 2000 and then the window falls next to the screen...

otherwise hook up second screen again and move the windows into the first screen.

@thomas,

I noticed this on my last demo, maybe something to add to the next release? detect screenresolution and limit window position to it? switching from dual to single screen you lose the options and library window...

Try to open the keyshot.xml in your KeyShot resource folder and change
<optionsdialogposition>X,Y</optionsdialogposition> to something like
<optionsdialogposition>10,10</optionsdialogposition>.

You can open keyshot.xml with wordpad.
