Post by: kwaikeong1402 on March 25, 2013, 07:01:05 AM
After rendering, i found that the surface not enough smooth. Is it the modeling problem? Anybody can assist me to solve this problem? Thank you very very much...... ;D

What software did you model it in and what did you export as. It looks like a poly mesh OBJ perhaps. If thats the case then you need to adjust the mesh density before export

Ok i checked with SolidEdge and there are no advanced import settings as such, so it should be a setting in SolidEdge for adjusting density or tessellation

i am not a solidedge user...but usually for obj import and export this problem usually is related to normals and not edge tessellation.
Check that your exporter has an option to export normals a well (its just extra information stored in the file nothing more than that)
