Title: KeyShot 4.1 Beta - Procedural Textures
Post by: Despot on May 22, 2013, 09:35:39 AM
Here are a few tests using new features available in the upcoming KeyShot 4.1 update

I've re-rendered the Rhino Puzzle using procedural metal textures - for me it looks just as nice as the previous version using image maps

More to come...

And here is a one using procedural wood... just playing so I haven't gone for realism, but I think it looks cool nonetheless...

What's nice is the ability to see the shader evolve in real time in the render window as you're moving sliders

And you can move them around using the move tool. It is quite powerful I think.

Great preview! I agree, seeing it in realtime... so good.
