Title: Perspective camera match
Post by: jbeau on June 02, 2013, 04:06:03 PM
This was recently introduced in 3dsmax 2014, but has been around as a Max script for awhile. Lets see it in KS!

Well, at least for me, "Ground Grid" does the same thing with one mouse click.  Then you align your model to the backplate.  OK, so it's two mouse clicks...

"Ground Grid" in KS does nothing like this.  It does not let you "play" with perspective and camera twist and view angle.  This looks very similar to what you can do in SketchUp .. only in SU, you can't rotate the blue (vertical) axis .. you can only use it to change the scale.

This is deff. a +1 for me !

+1! (X5)
Seems trivial to implement, for a good coder. :)

Ah, didn't think of that.  Now I understand, and add my +1!  Sometimes I long for the "good old days" of my 4x5 long bellows, drape, magnifying glass, changing bag and standing on my head.  Not!
