Title: Line of black pixels in all renderings
Post by: mcramblet on June 18, 2013, 09:02:42 AM
I did a couple of searches for this topic, but I didn't find anything. With every rendering I make with Keyshot, at the top of all image files is a row of black pixels. It's always the same black row, in the same spot, on all renderings (see attached image). Is there an easy fix for this issue?

Thanks

Hmm, I guess I'm the only one with this issue...

Are you rendering on a backplate image?

In the image below I have a backplate of 800 px x 600, but my output image is 800 px x 602 px, which creates a black line on the top and bottom. Maybe your backplate ratio/resolution is mismatched?

Yes, I am using a backplate image. I thought that would be my issue, but when I checked, both the size in Keyshot and the backplate image were exactly the same pixel dimensions.

Same here.  If the model you are rendering over a backplate is bigger than the canvas, the black line will only show where you see the backplate.
