Title: Hide part in main render/scene window
Post by: jhiker on July 19, 2013, 07:54:49 AM
Y'know what I really, really, miss?

Right-click 'Hide Part'

Now it's right-click -> Visibilty -> Hide part

Can we have it back please...?

Is there maybe a shortcut key I don't know about...?

Several of those UI "improvements" I'm not a fan of. Like copy material/paste material in scene tree, now buried in a menu

We decided to do this to in order to make the right mouse button menu shorter and more manageable. We knew that not everybody would be a fan of this.

The copy/paste material thing wouldn't be such an issues, as I have typically used the keyboard shortcuts and assigned material in the render window.
However, it seems for me at least since KS4 that a lot of the time when I paste a material it only changes the part I click on and not all of the parts that are on that layer?

Any idea what is different?

if the parts on the layer have different colors, then is will only change the material for each individual part. You can apply a material at the layer level in the scene tree, though, and it will paint and link all parts on the layer.
