Title: Multiple Wildcards in Material Templates
Post by: maymay on July 23, 2013, 08:49:04 AM
I was wondering if there's a way to have multiple wildcards in the part name of a material template entry.

For example, we name our screws with an abbreviated naming convention. Pan Head phillips drive screws may have a filename like this: PH-P #8 x .375.par. Other types may be PH-A (Allen/hex drive), or BH-P (button head phillips).

I would like to make an entry such as this:

*PH-P*,*PH-A*,*BH-A*,*BH-P*... as the source and assign one material to all the screws. Is this possible or do they need to be all individual items? The method I showed using commas doesn't work.
