Title: Label center highlight.
Post by: PhilippeV8 on August 23, 2013, 12:25:22 PM
Is it possible for when you are in the label tab and select a label, for then to have a dot or a cross to highlight where is the current center of that label ?  Would make it easy for knowing where to click if you need to shift it a bit.  I know you can use the slider or the textbox, but I am never sure if I need the X or the Y.
Same could go for texture maps off course.

+1.

Totally related:  Be able to cursor position a label regardless of its background.  Example:  A plate with a recessed counterbore.  Plate is mapped, and the counterbore is mapped a different color or not, if for example, a knob was to go into the counterbore.  Presently you cannot center the plate label using the counterbore as a reference, as the cursor will not recognize the counterbore face.  You have to use the sliders.  The plate surface should behave more like a "plane".
