Title: Xeon E5-2690 v2 (x2CPU) -- KeyShot 4.1 -- 212fps

I've replaced the CPUs of my machine:)

[Self-built machine]
Motherboard: ASUS Z9PA-D8
CPU: Xeon E5-2690 v2 (x2CPU) = total physical 20cores(40 threads), 3.3GHz@full load turbo
OS: Win 7 Enterprise, 64-Bit
Graphics: Nvidia Quadro 4000
Monitor: IBM T221 [9503-DGP] ...good old 4k LCD:)

KeyShot 4.1.35 fps: 212

Thanks for posting this!  Your specs are quite similar to the BOXX 8920 I ordered and should receive early next week, so this will be a good comparison.  My BOXX has 16 cores = 32 threads, but runs at 4.1 GHz. Liquid cooled, 32 GB of RAM, Quadro K5000 board, a 240 gig SSD and 3 TB of drives in RAID 5.  Should be interesting.  But I'll bet "yours will still be bigger than mine"!

Wow that is fast!
Roughly how much did that cost you?
I'm looking at getting a stand alone machine just for rendering...
