Title: Urgent question-turn off rounded edges?
Post by: Pepster3D on September 19, 2013, 10:50:38 AM
Is there an actual option/check mark somewhere for turning off the new feature of rounded edges?  I have a bunch of sharp edged objects but when I render with shiny metallic paint they look rounded.  I seem to be loosing my sharp edges.   :'(

Answered my own question.  Was bringing my objects in as an obj and also tried exporting from 3DS Max as a BIP, but it was still rounding my edges . So I exported from 3DS Max as DXF file, bought into Keyshot and now my edges are sharp again.  Phew!

Good, glad you figured it out. I was about to answer that you must turn on the rounded edges ((under the part's property tab) in order to turn them off.  ;D
Seen your work for mbusa, BTW - very nice!  8)
