Title: Text labels
Post by: NormanHadley on October 16, 2013, 01:41:12 AM
Thinking aloud here...

It's currently quite laborious to put text on a part. You can either model it as geometry as I did on our company website http://www.technomot.com/ (http://www.technomot.com/) but that limits you to chunky fonts and commits you to starting again from scratch if the wording ever changes.

The other approach is to take a screen grab from Word and slap the ensuing jpg or png onto your geometry as a label. That's what I did with my writing site. http://www.normanhadley.com/ (http://www.normanhadley.com/)

But if you were putting down more than single words, such as a warning label, that would still be quite laborious. Is there any way Keyshot could either handle text directly or accept Word as an embedded app?
