Title: Ready to buy - but a question
Post by: boeing727223 on November 02, 2013, 02:00:24 PM
Hello all, I am extremely impressed with the Keyshot Demo I have used!  I have used them all and currently using the Octane renderer, but I am loving the materials (especially the translucency skin material).

I am interested in 4.2 (standard) but concerned at the preview render resolution.  If I purchase the standard version how will that differ from the demo version?  The demo version is pretty much what I need for now and I can make the preview render full screen and it looks great.

I would love to see the translucent material "green band" issue be dealt with for DAZ characters.  This is where there are material or UV separations you get the green band.

Thanks

With the 4.2 standard (not pro) can I do a real time rendering window size of 1920 x 1080?  I just don't want to spend almost a $1,000 and have a small window for the real time rendering.

Thanks a bunch!

Ok I answered my own question....1920 x 1080 2.1 megapixel - just what I need so I bought 4.2 now!
