Title: Import missed some parts
Post by: PaulP on November 22, 2013, 02:08:50 PM
Hi,

I'm using Keyshot 3. I built a assy. in Inventor, it has some files that I downloaded form a manuafacture, specifically a 5" swivel caster.

When I  import it the casters don't come with it. Other files I downloaded from the same manufacture do work.

Any idea of what to try to get the whole thing to import?

Thanks,

Paul

You can export to CATIA from Inventor and then import. In KeyShot 4, the Inventor import has improved significantly.

You're unable to export as a Catia file type from Inventor? Well, then try STEP, IGES, etc...

You don't need CATIA. The export to CATIA should be a standard export function in Inventor, not unless I am mistaken.
