Title: Ground Alpha Shadow
Post by: fcoltro on December 10, 2013, 05:29:11 AM
Hi all,

Please, there is a way to achive a black only shadow for PNG.

I mean, I most render products for catalogue and use all white background (white Color in environment). So, i turn on ground shadows, than I render the image and output it to png with alpha. The result is the best for me. I have the product and shadows with the alpha channel all done, but when i put the image in the catalogue, if the background is white it is OK the shadow is on the same color it would be, but when I put it in diferent background color like red i.e, the shadow "become" grey.

What i'm talking about is that there is a way to generate the shadow only in black with transparency instead a grey with transparency?

Thank you very much.

Turn your background black instead of white or grey. This will solve your halo ground shadow.
I hope that helps.
