Have you changed the font size on the tabs - it looks a bit 'spidery'..
Could just be my imagination :)

Yes. This change was done to make the text readable even when the window is narrow.

I like that you've implemented the mouse wheel navigation with those tabs!

I noticed the font size change in tab too, but also noticed a small issue.

In Win7 x64, characters in tab is wrongly highlighted...
i.e. characters in actually picked tab don't get highlighted but in left next tab.

In Win8 x64, it looks OK... the characters in tab don't get highlighted but its background,
i.e. tab label itself gets highlighted properly.
