Title: .bip > .bip import retains "master" HDR
Post by: Speedster on January 29, 2014, 07:18:51 AM
I've noticed that when you import an already painted up .bip into a "master" .bip, it defaults to the newly imported .bip HDRI.  It would be nice if the "master" HDRI remained intact, and the new .bip or multiple imports came in only with the model.

Did you save view sets in the hip that you are about to import?

Yes, that's the problem.  I have a master .bip, into which I have imported nine other .bips, that I am using for individual renders.  Now, in the master, I have 68 viewsets!  So I'm going through and removing them.

I think whatever you set up in the master should be sacrosanct, and not import all the cameras, viewsets, HDR's and stuff from the new imports.

Turn off "import cameras" in the import dialog.
