Title: Wishlist 4.4
Post by: Y.Lange on January 31, 2014, 04:59:31 AM
I'd love to see the following features in future releases.

-"Custom" Motion easing; The ability to adjust the easing curve to your own preferences, enabling effects like "rubber-band" etc.
- Gradients/fades in materials; needed for things like MLC coated lenses
- FadeIn-FadeOut/Hide-Unhide/change opacity in animations
- Modelsets for only materials; so you can easily shuffle trough different color combinations (duplications of models is not great when using livelinking, animations etc), maybe even include a "render for modelset 1, 2, 4" so you can "queue" your color combination in less clicks.
- Animation translations and rotations trough "move tool"
- Revisions saved in a seperate-Keyshot-data folder, instead of the original .bip location
- When importing from Solidworks, include the Body names of multiple bodies within a single .sldprt
- Animation total length bug fixed (see my topic for that)
- flexing/bending/stretching of geometry especially for animations.

I might edit it if I come up with more ideas.
Thanks for all the hard work!

A number of the issues will be addressed in KeyShot 5. Thanks for the list.

We will look into the body name issue.

Hoping for the animation total length bug to be fixed in an update.
I'd hate to be obliged to pay and upgrade to KS5 just to fix a bug in KS4.
(as it is clearly a bug, not a missing feature)
