hello

is this a bug?

there are defects that appear when I turn on the option radius edges.

Not really. Some meshes work better with the radius function than others... and the reason why it is still experimental, I guess.

Try changing the angle to 90ยบ. It should then only pick up the sharp edges on the holes.

Every render I know of that has this option ends up with that result here and there, and it's usually because of the mesh. What software are you using to mesh? You have some pretty long triangles there. If those triangles are really thin, they can mess with the normals, causing errors that appear as if the faces overlap or flip. They are thin, so normally not noticable, unless you do something to the normals (like the radius tool).

If your meshing software has an option for aspect ratio, that will help. The upper left mesh looks great, but the mesh closer to the camera looks like it has some issues. There should be some subdivisions between your holes.
