Title: can't save edited hdr
Post by: Pepster3D on April 08, 2014, 07:08:15 AM
I am using Keyshot 4.3.18 and can't save an edited hdr (editing with Luxion editor).  When I add my pin lights, etc. and then try to save, Keyshot closes every time.  Is this a known bug?  Thanks.

On a similar topic... does Luxion have any intention of allowing users to save out environments as .hrd or .exr. The more advanced that keyshots internal hdri editor gets, the less the need for this is, but still I would like to be able to use photoshop for general tweaks, hrdlightstudio for certain tasks and virtualrig studio pro for adding directional blurs to hdris. I have also noticed that .hdz files are much larger than .hdr files (although this is of no concern to me personally).

Thanks
Ed

We will check into this but there is no known issue that we know of. However, there are some rare occasions where memory can fill up. Are you doing a lot of editing and moving of pins?

@Ed - we talked about it. We may do this at some point in time.

Hi,
No I was just adding 1 pin to an existing environment.

Mac or PC? Was it one of the environments we provide or another one (not that this should matter ...)?

Hi,
PC version.  It seems to be happening with .HDR files.  The .HDZ files that came with keyshot are not making it crash when I try to save with new pin lights.
