Title: Slow cursor with Wacom tablet
Post by: Chris Rosewarne on August 11, 2014, 02:31:34 AM
Hi everyone, I'm being plagued by an issue where by the cursor becomes very slow to react and jerky when using my Wacom tablet, but when I use the trackpad on my MacBook its fine. I have the latest Wacom drivers installed, any ideas? This happens with KS 4 and 5

Thanks

Chris

I've noticed that the Wacom input tends to be slow when KS uses all the available cores. Can you free a core up on your CPU?

Hi Richard, in the KS5 CPU election tab I only have the option for "all cores" so I presume I only have one?

However it seems to be running better today

Thanks

Chris

It looks like this is a dual core setup, so disabling a core won't be possible (and probably wouldn't be desirable from a performance standpoint ;)

If you can find out what triggers the slowdown please let us know via this post! Thanks!

What this needs is the same as the advanced renderer where it can be ran as a background process. Do you know of any way of achieving this, maybe a bash script that launches KS with a lower priority level ? Is it even possible ?
