Title: Ferrari 458 Interior
Post by: feher on August 31, 2014, 06:06:58 AM
Martin ask for an interior shot of this.
So I did...lol
This model is from TurboSquid http://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/ferrari-458-italia-spider-max/777906
Some work was done to the model before I used it. But a very nice model none the less.

I don't know if I ever mention it before but I work in 32bit then work into a 8 bit image. the main advantage of working in 32bit is that your whites don't get muddy and your images keep that richness. Since Photoshop is terrible with what you can do in 32bit the workflow is kinda a pain. But, in my mind well worth it for the end result.

Enjoy
Tim

Overall Image looks good. I can spot some spots where the UV unwrapping doesn't look right, and the overall feel of the carbon fiber lacks "depth" I think. But a great image non the less. Love the leather material.

Here's some spots I noticed, I get these little white dots when using IES lights too, never found a good way to get rid of them without retouching.
