Title: Opaque plastic sandwiched between two transparent layers shows as transparent
Post by: Rennd on November 17, 2014, 12:44:14 AM
Hey all. New user to KeyShot here, but I'm fairly sure this is a bug. If not apologies (I did have a search around).

I've got a piece of black shiny hard plastic sandwiched between two layers of clear plastic. When viewed - portions of the black plastic also become transparent, allowing you to see through the object. When I remove the top layer of transparent material, the black plastic becomes completely opaque in all areas, as it should.

It seems as though stacked areas of transparent plastic negate certain opaque elements when placed in between them.

I will post screen-shots when I get back into the office.

Cheers.
