Title: Backplate image not aligned
Post by: Juneauz on December 30, 2014, 02:58:13 PM
Hi,
I'm relatively new to the software and I've been having trouble trying to render a simple image or vr with a backplate.

As you see in the images below, I'm using a 900x900 image as background.
I've set the realtime resolution in settings to 900x900, and also in the render settings.
I have "adjust aspect ratio to backplate" set to "on" under preferences.

As you can see, the image looks just fine in the realtime viewport, but when I proceed to render I get black bars on the left and top of the image, as if the backplate wasn't aligned with the camera.

Locking/unlocking aspect ratio also didn't help.

Any idea what could be causing the issue?

Thanks in advance

Hey Juneauz,

Welcome to the forum!

Did you let the render complete to see if those tiles resolved? I see the same thing when rendering using Advanced Control but by the time the render completes the black bars are no longer present.

Rex
