That looks great and thanks for the 'making of' part, I love seeing how these images are put together. It's really helpful.

Out of interest, what purpose does the ambient occlusion give and how do you go about using it to improve your work? I can't quite understand the benefit from a quick read on google. Although there obviously is a benefit..

AO, Ambient Occlusion adds litters shadows, it contrasts the image and adds realism

So that's mean you used ao and hard shadows render comhined in photoshop postwork right? Could u share how you got ao ambient occlusion shot using keyshot?

Hello,

Yes i merges, AO, shadows in photoshop (or after effect for animation)

creat AO is simple,

use diffus mat white for all model, and add only WHITE HDRI map (power 1)and active detailed shadow in adjustement panel ;)

Beautiful! I absolutely love the various colors, especially in the brake calipers. Nice hard light reflections on the car too!
