Title: Non disappearing material
Post by: Clausj on January 24, 2015, 11:07:17 PM
This has been mentioned before but it's a biggie. You carefully create a material in the scene, then while experimenting with the scene you apply another material to the object - and your carefully crafted material is gone.

I would like the option to have all materials stay available, maybe in a list of "unused materials". I don't want to save every possible material to my library but I would certainly like to be able to keep every material I create in the scene. Without that option, how do I change back and forth to see what works? Right now undo/redo is the only option.

Hi Clausj,

Thank you for your suggestion. We will take this into consideration for updates to the in-project material palette for KeyShot 6.
