Title: Jittering problem
Post by: bentiger on February 01, 2015, 10:17:50 AM
Hi,

i am doing an animation in Keyshot and have the problem, that jittering is apperaring in my video and i don't know how to get rid of it.
Here you can see it (on the left side):

I have already tried other materials but with any other metal i get the same problems. With paint materials i did not have this problem, but they don't look good.

Any ideas how to solve this problem?

Hi bentiger,

What version of KeyShot are you running? Are you rendering locally or through Network Rendering? What mode are you using for render output - i.e. Max Samples, Advanced?

Thanks,
Rex

Hi,

I am using Keyshot 5 Floating 64, Rendering locally and i used for render output maximum time, but increasing maximum time did not solve my problem. Shall i try on other render output settings?

Thanks for your help.

Can you send the .KSP for me to take a look at? You can send to rex@luxion.com via keyshot.wetransfer.com

I am sending the .bip file of my project, hope that helps. The file is created with an export from Creo Parametric 2, if this might be related to the problem.

Please send the .KSP (file>save package) so that all the assets i.e. environment, textures are saved with the file.

Hi bentiger,

I was able to reproduce on my end and it looks to be an issue with import of the .fra file. Can you please contact support@luxion.com with the original cad file?

Thank you,
Rex

Hi,

I don't have access to the cad file until April - i will try the export once more then into KeyShot and will see if the problem remains.

Is there a possibility to copy my camera animations into the new exported file?

Thanks for your help so far.

Are you updated on the latest version of KeyShot - 5.1.66?

Yes you can use the technique described in the following video.

Hi,

just recognized, that the problem is quite similar with this thread:
https://www.keyshot.com/forum/index.php/topic,8208.15.html

In the thread was written it's fixed on 5.1. I am running latest version of KeyShot, but maybe Keyshot is not on latest version on the Computer where i exported the cad file. So updating there might solve my issues.

bentiger,

You're correct. I opened his test scene in 5.1.66 and am still seeing the issue so I have re-filed with development.

Thank you,
Rex
