Title: Camera look-at point in animation
Post by: Merijn on February 24, 2015, 05:04:05 AM
Hi!

I am making an animation in which the camera orbits the subject, moves with the object in one direction, and then orbits it again.

My problem has to do with the look-at point, which seems to stay at the original position (in the center of the scene).
When I animate the second orbit, the camera turns around this look-at point. How can I translate the camera without leaving the look-at point behind?

Kind regards,

Merijn

One way I sometimes work around this, is by just moving everything else in the other direction, instead of moving the item you want to move. That way the look at point stays the same.
