Title: Launch Engine in 6.0.111
Post by: Speedster on June 10, 2015, 05:17:54 PM
I posted this project yesterday (in 6.0.108), looked at it this morning, gagged and immediately removed it.  I was so excited by Material Graphing that I acted in haste.

So... today I learned a lot!  Still very much a WIP, but at least now I have a solid foundation. Graphing is totally addictive, as most of you have discovered.

Curvature and the usual stuff.  Heavy duty Graphing.  Lots of labels, stains, corrosion, etc.

REALLY want Label Transparency capability!

Several other ideas came out of this, which I posted on Beta Discussion.

Now to start trying for my target images, posted last below. Shot them at The Henry Ford museum some years ago.  Note, for example, how the black paint has worn away to expose the red zinc oxide primer. It can be done in layers and masks in Photoshop, but would be way better in native KeyShot. Any suggestions appreciated!

Looks great Bill. The texture may be a little heavy on some parts, but matter of taste maybe.

Those museum shots are some great inspiration. Adding them to my collection!
